Another outdoor ride today, two in a row. What a result. Decent enough weather, too. Not just getting out for getting outs sake.
If I’d had my way I would have gone out earlier, and if I had, I might have picked a different route. However, work being what it is, I couldn’t spare an hour at dinner time so, given that I ended up only getting 10 minutes for my dinner, I decided to finish early and get out for a ride before rush hour.

The route wasn’t super interesting today, and my pace wasn’t great either. But it was over an hours exercise, and a decent calorie burn all the same. Enough to make me not feel bad about chomping a Mint flavoured Magnum ice cream when I got back.
Perhaps my biggest achievement today was breaking the top 10 on Midgery Climb. Strava counts part of the downhill in this segment, and I managed to fly down there today. All completely unintentional honestly, but I’ll take it never the less.

The weather is expected to hold all week, so I might try to get out again tomorrow during the day time if at all possible. I know I have my last late meeting tomorrow, so would ideally not have to do the ride after that.
See how it goes.
