All day meeting meets hard limit 1 hour lunch break. Time to pedal.

In my head I had this one down as a tempo ride. But looking at the colour of the route overlay, this was not a tempo ride at all. Perhaps I should try for a proper tempo ride tomorrow. To be honest I could probably do with an endurance ride more than anything, but I find that very difficult to do outdoors.
I definitely felt rushed today.

On the plus side, when I got back I found a bunch of extra stats you can get out of Intervals.icu. That site continues to impress me.
Really the route today was intentionally fairly short, flat, and local. I had to be back for 13:30, and annoyingly the meeting overran the lunch break allocation so I only got out at 12:39, which meant I was already cut short.

That accounts for the low distance. The other side to that was that heavier winds had returned. Not quite as bad as last week, but when heading into a headwind I certainly knew about it.
Overall though, a nice ride. Good to get out. Quiet enough. If only it were a bit sunnier.
