Wew, the heat wave has returned.
I went out ‘early’ (ish) today to try and beat the heat, but it was still roastino.
Also today I wasn’t doing very much because reasons. So I wasn’t overly concerned about over heating. In fact the route I took was so stop / start that with the cool breeze the only time I realised I was hotter than usual was when I’d stop for any reason and the sweat would immediately bead off me all over the top tube. Lovely stuff.
Here’s something new from Garmin when I got home:
Never seen that before. Good to know I am adapting.
There’s a not a right lot else to say about today. Intentionally easy, and maybe tomorrow will be more of the same. It’s definitely hard to stay in on the turbo when it’s as hot as this. But then there’s no sense in riding outdoors in 30c… so this week will need a bit of planning / riding early, I guess.
