If I can take one thing from today it’s that, according to Intervals.icu, I am currently at my highest fitness level in… well, a while. I know that I don’t have my all time stats in the app, but of the data I do have – about 6 months – I have today hit my highest fitness number.
I don’t know what that number means.
But I do know 32 is the highest it has been. Result.
Do I feel any fitter?

Kinda. I’d be lying if I said I felt night and day different because of a one point gain, but as the graph clearly shows, the progress has been slow and gradual over the last two months.
Also the fatigue is high. I can definitely say I agree with that. As usual I did not want to ride today. It’s quite nice out there, but windy. But even so, I wasn’t really in the mood for cycling indoors or out. I did get more into it as I went along, but I knew my bike was getting filthy (again) and that means washing it… again. Oh, and remembering to put lube on the chain, as it was squeaking like crazy today.

On the plus side also today, zero incidents. That’s rare. But also very welcome.
I’m now very much looking forwards to a rest day tomorrow. As it has been a short week, I actually have ended up feeling more tired than usual. Not sure how that happens, but it always seems to be the case.
