Bit of a bodge from me today. Misjudged my timings, had to finish early due to a forthcoming meeting, and then when I did get off the bike my meeting had been postponed. However, I only learned that after I’d got out of my kit, showered in a rush, and just about made it back to the computer for when my meeting had been scheduled to start.
Fail.
So after yesterday I didn’t want to do very much today. If all had gone to plan I would have been doing a 45 minute @ 150w ride, no gaps in between. I’d classify this one as a recovery ride, and was hoping to get to at least 20km in that time. This is Zwift, after all.
Got to say though, not great today.
Calorie burn – poor.
Total distance – poor, for indoors.
Time? Just the 37 minutes, including warm up? And not exactly at blistering pace.
Yeah… poor all round. Thing is, I guess I could have gone back on the bike after my later meeting finished. However my kit was all soggy and I’d already showered, and frankly I just didn’t have the motivation.
Hopefully I’ll do better tomorrow.
