Low Aerobic Action

Garmin told me to do more “low aerobic” rides, which I have interpreted as chill out and take only “nice and easy rides”. So that’s what I’m doing this week. Aside from yesterday, of course.

Ideally I’d like to get in 60 minutes of these endurance effort rides, but time permitting, I only get 30 minutes for my lunch break and doing these in the early evenings isn’t practical.

Thirty minutes is better than zero.

However I have to admit I genuinely felt like doing zero today. I almost skipped it. Almost.

On the plus side, I did find a few new things on this ride. With time to kill, I went off reading the internet.

Here’s the good stuff:

And then a bunch of new things coming from Zwift:

The Spring Training Workout Series is, surprisingly, the most interesting thing to me on that list. I do like the regularly scheduled rides as it takes the onus off me for thinking about what to do.

I’m wondering how intensive they are going to be. As hard as the early Zwift Academy rides, or as ‘easy’ as the more recent ones? Or somewhere in between?

Anyway, it’s looking promising. Always good to see new things and improvements to the app.

But yeah, not the most thrilling of rides today – hence the Internet meanderings.

More of the same tomorrow, I suspect. It’s too wet and cold out to ride, so it will almost certainly be the turbo.
