Starting with this week, I’m going to make this less Zwift specific, and include Training Peaks as well.
In my opinion, I had a decent week overall. My biggest achievement, by far, was to complete my first ever 50k ride.
In terms of distance, 162km is 100 miles so that’s massive for me as well. My weekly Zwift goal on distance is currently set at 100km, so I smashed through that.
One thing that I noticed after switching between laptop and iPad is that I had my iPad likely set on medium ‘realism’ mode. For my 50km ride, I made sure to bump up the realism to max. I have now made this change on my iPad also. This makes me seriously question this weeks climb time on Box Hill.
A downer from this week was in Tour of Watopia Stage 3 crashing on me. That sucks. Lesson learned, ride these bigger rides on the laptop.
Overall a good week, happy with my progress, and already looking forward to my next 50km ride.
