33 Minutes Of Kevin’s Busy Hands

The usual mid-week endurance / Zone 2 session today.

I spent the first 33 minutes watching a film, which then promptly froze. No big deal, I wasn’t that into it actually. It was The Usual Suspects, which I have never watched before. Maybe I should have watched it before we knew about Kevin Spacey’s busy hands.

After that I switched to YouTube, grinding out tutorial content in a bid to while away the time. It kinda worked. I was more into the tutorial than I was the movie – which says a lot about my personality, I suppose.

Beyond that though, nothing much to report. I feel … not stressed, but agitated. I’m in some kind of weird limbo land with work. I’m waiting on signing on a contract, but because it’s half term here in the UK, everyone seems to have gone on leave, leaving me wondering. It’s … not ideal.

I was in two minds as to whether to go out instead of doing a Zwift session. But it was drizzling and I couldn’t be bothered getting my full winter kit on. Easier to just chuck on my knackered old bib shorts and sweat it out on the turbo. And less risk of being plowed by a local drunk, or as we are supposed to call them, motorists.

Anyway, I might race again tomorrow. Not convinced I can do better, but I might, if the mood takes me, have another stab at Glasgow Crit Circuit. Or maybe Crit City. I don’t know. Let’s see how the day plays out.
