In my mind I was going to do today’s endurance / low intensity workout on MyWhoosh. I’ve been meaning to check out the app again for a few weeks now, and today seemed like the perfect opportunity.
Unfortunately the app required a 9.1gb patch!

As I was between meetings, that was a no-go. I had to drop the idea and switch back to Zwift. As it is, I’ve since left it patching in the background all afternoon, so hopefully it will be ready to ride when I next get a chance.
What that meant is that I did my usual 10-12 Week FTP Builder ‘easy’ ride, doing 6 repeats of 6 minutes at 175w. A nice and easy ride when compared to my other rides in the week, such as yesterday for example.
Quite a boring ride though really.
Anyway, it’s done and out of the way. I did say yesterday I might do my weekly race today.
It’s supposed to be hot tomorrow – think 26c – and it might have been better to do the race when it’s cooler. However, it’s still hot today – 22c – but I just didn’t have the time today. It’s been back to back meetings for 2 days solid, so getting on the bike in time for the 12:10 race wasn’t feasible. And by 13:10 I was back in meetings.
