Kinda cycling without a purpose today. It was going to be a Zone 2 day, but I figured that it might be slightly more interesting – and not that more intensive – to do a group ride with the C-class Robo Pacer.
And truthfully that’s about all there is to report today. It was an entirely uneventful ride, and I was really just making up the numbers with regards to my weekly targets and totals.
I’ve been thinking on the whole Advent of Cycling thing and I’m wondering if I ought to restrict my rides to ~50 minutes rather than stretch out to the full hour. Over the week it does work out the same, but I’m very conscious that fatigue will set in.

Now it just so happens that 50 minutes is the exact length of the SST workout, which I may well do tomorrow. But equally I’m kinda wanting to try out some new things. There’s a race on at 12pm tomorrow on Crit City which, all being well, I’m going to try and get in for. That does mean I need to be on the bike at 11:45 for warm up though, and on week days that’s not always possible.
So if that doesn’t play out I’m going to have a poke around at WhatsOnZwift and try to find something in that 40 to 50 minute mark to get my sweat on.
Until then.
