Another low intensity ride today, and another dinner time spent working through. There’s pros and cons to taking the laptop on the bike. During these Zone 2 rides I do get bored, and carrying on working does kill the time.
But equally I need a break.
One of the downsides of working from home, particularly in these Autumn months is that I’m not getting out much. Certainly not for exercise. So it’s a case of working all morning at the PC, then riding at the PC, then working all afternoon at the PC… not ideal.
The alternative today was to do something more intensive. Maybe an SST session. But due to needing to get stuff done, it had to be an easier ride. Ahh well, all good time in the legs regardless.
I double checked and I’m signed up now for Zwift’s Race Like A Pro series.
Racing will therefore continue all through December, which is pretty cool. And this time we won’t be on Makuri Island, at all. For this we’re hitting London, Richmond, France, and finishing in Watopia. Should be a good one. What I like about these events is they can be done in a dinner break, so it fits me perfectly.
Anyway, tomorrow is a rest day and then on Saturday and Sunday this week I am hecka busy, so it will be a case of fitting in what I can, when I can.
