Some of my least favourite turbo rides are the low intensity ‘endurance’ rides. I’d prefer it where my legs are being torn off, and then I don’t focus on the saddle pain on my ass instead.
For this one I ended up having to work through the ride. At ~150w or so it’s really not too difficult. Just bring a towel and wipe your brow every so often. Beyond that, try not to sweat too profusely all over someone else’s laptop.




It’s actually not a bad way to kill off this type of session. I still started to fidget around the 30 minute marker, but it did see me right through to the end.
I think with endurance rides, the true test is how much pain I can take on my backside. Maybe that is what ‘endurance’ truly means.
What a sadistic sport.
