Getting back into it today. No pun intended.
After a slow start to the week thanks to a pulled muscle in my back I figured I could risk doing something slightly more intensive today.
I’m still suffering pretty much as I was earlier in the week. The pain hasn’t really gone away, but barring a few body adjustments whilst on the bike (mainly sitting back or leaning forwards), the majority of the time the pain is not there.
I figured I’d try putting in a slightly more exertive ride today to see if the intensity triggered any pain. And thankfully it didn’t.
Which in a way is quite annoying as I probably could have done something more intensive this week than endurance rides. But hey ho. Better than nothing.
So it’s rest day tomorrow – and that can only be a good thing for a pulled muscle – and then into the weekend I am hoping to get in an SST session on Saturday and the workout of the week on Sunday. It looks like this week’s workout of the week is a throwback to Zwift Academy Road 2020, workout #4 … but I had a look back through my archives and I can’t see that workout. How odd.
But that’s the plan.
