I guess if you Zwift long enough, eventually you will start the exact same workout at the exact same time as another Zwifter, and then travel the exact same route on the exact same world.
Very exact.
But beyond that, there is absolutely nothing of interest to report today 🤪
It was a plain old Zone 2 ride, sitting at 160w for 5 intervals over the hour. I sat watching some training videos for most of it, and it was only at the very end of the ride did I spot that this other rider had the same distance as me, the same watts per kilo, and seemed to be hitting the same markers where they dropped their watts, then picked back up exactly as I did. Never seen that before.
I was thinking over night, if I can’t find a make up ride to do the equivalent of the Tour de Zwift 2023 Stage 4 Longer Ride, I could always just do the ride solo anyway. The likelyhood is that the group ride wouldn’t be that well attended, at a guess. And even if it was, I’d likely end up alone after a short while anyway.
So maybe tomorrow I will do that ride. I need to find out exactly what route it is. I believe it’s Box, Fox, Keith, and Leith, along with the entire rest of the map. So that sounds suitably horrendous.
