I picked the Gotham Grind route on Zwift’s New York map today, just to tick off the route badge really. I’m sure I’ve done most of these routes before, but for whatever reason it doesn’t seem to have registered loads of them.
No big deal, it gives me plenty of things to check off whenever I am unsure what or where to ride.
That said, I wasn’t paying much attention to Zwift itself today. I keep the app open so I can see my intervals, and I do have the game running in the background, but for the most part I use the screen to watch TV / YouTube / films / other junk.
Today I managed to burn down a good chunk of an online programming course I’m watching, which sounds almost as tedious as 5 x 9 minutes at 160w, but is actually more preferable to me because I am a massive nerd.
Anyway, beyond that there’s not a lot to report. I didn’t want to do an hour on the bike, but I did it. It was easier than yesterday, but I know I need to do something harder again tomorrow.
Soon be Friday. Soon be weekend. Soon might even have a job. Well, at least two out of three ain’t bad.
